Strengthen your community as a Women’s Wellness Program Co-Coordinator with VNFC. Focus on trauma-informed practices while supporting Indigenous women through personal growth and empowerment.
In this co-facilitated role, you will be instrumental in delivering the Women’s Wellness Program under the auspices of Family Wellness Supports. You will prepare and modify group sessions, assist with recruitment and intake, and connect participants with necessary resources. Accurate reporting, case note maintenance, and advocating for participant needs will be core to your responsibilities while ensuring a culturally protected environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver thoughtful group sessions
• Tailor program curriculum to participant needs
• Conduct participant recruitment and intake processes
• Ensure program materials are effectively managed
• Document and report program statistics
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work or similar field
• Experience working in Indigenous contexts
• Strong background in curriculum planning
• Understanding of 2SLGBTQIA+ community challenges
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license
