JR Inventory Technician (Heavy Equipment) – Entry level

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Schedule: 10+ Hours/day, Saturdays and Sundays as required, Schedule as per Operational Requirements, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Location: 9175 – 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB - no direct access to public transportation

Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions

Requirements:

- Personal Reliable Vehicle
- CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Pre-employment:

- Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
- Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
- Fitness to Work Assessment

JR Inventory Technician Responsibilities:

- Identify, bin locate and store inventory of various makes and models of heavy‑duty construction equipment.
- Determine warehouse deficiencies when reviewing inventory records, document accurate stock numbers and report any newly found discrepancy to supervisor.




- Assist parts drivers with deliveries, pick‑ups and other tasks as required.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding deliveries, returns, and warranty claims.
- Operate forklift to assist with organization and efficiency of the shop operations.
- Develop internal systems to ensure inventory is stocked efficiently; and organized effectively to ensure smooth operations of parts department.

JR Inventory Technician Qualifications:

- A minimum of 1 + years’ experience is preferred.
- Hard working and mechanically inclined.
- Solid interest in working with and learning about heavy equipment.
- Computer skills required.
