Position # : V46670 Expected Start Date : September 28, 2026 Union : SUN Facility : Regina General Hospital City/Town : Regina Department : Clinical Standards & Professional Practice, Nursing Operational Support Type : Full-time regular FTE : 1 Shift Information : Days Number of Hours per Rotation : 8 hour shifts Relief : No Float : No Hours of work : Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band : Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required : Yes Job Description : Under the direction of the Manager, CSPP - Operational Practice Support, the Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) integrates knowledge and skill reflective of the Health Services model of care and principles of adult learning, in the provision of education, research, and quality client centered care for a defined group of clients and programs. The incumbent will provide visible, proactive leadership and promote the delivery of client centered care through identified education programming. In collaboration with the Manager, the CNE is responsible for assessing learning needs of staff, planning, implementing, and evaluating education activities/programs. The Clinical Nurse Educator will use a consultative approach and research findings to provide support to health care professionals as appropriate. Positions will have specific responsibilities related to specialized client needs and clinical knowledge within designated programs in the SHA. Human Resources Exemption : No Experience

Experience developing/implementing/evaluating programs/resources 3 years experience in clinical area within the past 5 years Experience in teaching adults, facilitation skills,



and leading group activities Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses

Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS) Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Competencies

Critical thinking skills Problem solving skills Intermediate Computer Skills Verbal communication skills Interpersonal skills Written Communication Skills Knowledge and Abilities

Demonstrated commitment to continuing career development Can dev./implement/evaluate educational prog./resources incl. needs assessment Demonstrates ability to accept and implement change Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to integrate clinical knowledge and experience into clinical practice Articulates theory and knowledge related to the principles of adult education Ability to be self directed and work relatively independently Demonstrates ability in teaching, facilitation and group activities Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Standards and application of such Ability to apply research to clinical practice Demonstrated ability in program development, implementation and evaluation Articulates theory and knowledge related to client centered care Other Information

Lifting/moving clinical equip. may be req'd in accord. w/EH&S; Standards Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
