In this onsite role, the Job Developer collaborates with local employers to facilitate job placements for clients. Responsibilities include establishing positive connections with clients, providing coaching during interviews, and attending job fairs to enhance employer engagement. As a key figure in employment retention, the JD ensures clients remain successfully employed beyond initial placements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide client-centered support leading to successful job placements
• Maintain relationships with at least 10 new employers monthly
• Coach clients for job interviews and networking events




• Update employer database with current client hires
• Attend local job fairs and networking opportunities
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in relevant fields or related experience
• Two or more years in job development or employment counseling
• Knowledge of local labor market and employment challenges
• Strong digital literacy, including social media skills
• Ability to drive to employer sites throughout Calgary
