Maintain a clean and secure environment at Lookout Housing and Health Society in Courtenay, BC as a Full-Time Janitor. This role includes janitorial duties and essential maintenance tasks.

As a Janitor Maintenance Worker, you'll report directly to the Site Manager while ensuring site cleanliness and operational efficiency. Your daily responsibilities will include performing janitorial work, monitoring building equipment, and attending to repairs. You will also work closely with team members to uphold service standards for our clients in need.

Key Responsibilities: • Sweep, wash, and wax floors regularly • Clean and disinfect surfaces thoroughly • Remove garbage and manage recycling • Monitor equipment upkeep and maintenance • Assist new staff and supervise volunteers

Requirements: • Minimum Grade 12 education with 2 years related experience • Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate • Strong communication and documentation skills • Ability to manage stress and organize workload • Criminal Record Clearance – Vulnerable Sector
