We are seeking a talented lawyer to support our corporate finance and securities practice. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions and strategic matters for clients across a broad range of industries, including mining and natural resources, from public and private financings and M&A; transactions to corporate governance, securities regulation and ongoing commercial matters.

The Role

You will work closely with partners and clients on a wide variety of matters, including:

- Public and private financings
- Mergers, acquisitions and strategic transactions
- Securities regulatory compliance and disclosure obligations
- Corporate governance and continuous disclosure matters

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

- 2+ years of leading law firm experience in securities, corporate finance and general corporate/commercial law




- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent judgment and attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal and client-service skills
- The ability to effectively manage multiple files, competing priorities and changing deadlines
- A demonstrated capacity to perform well in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- A collaborative approach and a commitment to professional excellence
- Experience in the mining and natural resources sector would be an asset
