Be a vital part of Youthdale Treatment Centres as an experienced Payroll Specialist in Toronto. This full-time position focuses on payroll accuracy and effective communication.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will ensure the integrity of semi-monthly payroll runs and collaborate with HR for seamless employee benefit administration. Your role is critical in maintaining compliance with financial policies and providing timely payroll solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute full-cycle payroll for salaried and hourly staff
• Reconcile and process all special payroll payments
• Audit payroll and maintain accurate employee records
• Generate ad-hoc and scheduled payroll reports
• Assist in payroll system enhancements and upgrades
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree with preference for payroll certification
• At least 3 years of payroll experience in HR or Finance
• Familiarity with Ultipro HRIS is advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll best practices
• Solid analytical and communication skills
