As a Cook, you will be responsible for meal preparation, monitoring sanitation, and ensuring special dietary needs are met. Ideal candidates will have previous cooking experience, preferably in a leadership role, and must hold a valid Secure Food Handling Certificate. You will also oversee Food Services Workers and respond to any resident concerns, promoting a warm environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely meal preparation and service
• Keep cooking areas sanitary and organized
• Check new resident dietary requirements




• Supervise Food Services Workers when required
• Handle concerns of residents and families promptly
Requirements:
• Relevant cooking experience needed, supervisory is a plus
• Safe Food Handling Certificate must be in good standing
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Formal training in food preparation required
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication
