This position reports directly to the CEO and is pivotal in enhancing Canlin Energy's operations. You will guide Exploitation/Reservoir Engineering and Acquisition & Disposition activities while ensuring top-tier performance and safety. Your focus will include strategic direction, development initiatives, and identifying new areas of operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor industry packages and recommend acquisition bid levels • Oversee development program execution and cost management • Develop organizational structures to support growth • Set and monitor performance targets for operations • Identify opportunities to drive value creation
Requirements: • Degree in engineering or geology, registration with APEGA • 15+ years in oil and gas within WCSB • Expertise in production operations and asset evaluation • Solid business acumen in E&P; sector • Proven team management experience in growth environments
