In this role, you will leverage your background as a parent familiar with mental health challenges, guiding other families through advocacy and engagement initiatives. You will manage peer support activities and collaborate with various stakeholders to foster effective communication within the London Middlesex Child and Youth Mental Health framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate individual and group peer support for parents • Foster engagement and relationships with community groups • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership • Conduct outreach and gather participant feedback • Manage parent resource materials to support advocacy
Requirements: • Post-secondary studies in social services or related fields • Two years of experience in child or adult services • Robust communication and interpersonal abilities • Proficient in organizing and facilitating group activities • Understanding of community support systems
