As a Casual Facility Operator at Prairie South SD, you will work as required to maintain clean and secure school environments. The position involves both indoor and outdoor maintenance while following guidelines set by educational standards. To be successful, candidates must have at least a Grade 10 diploma, relevant cleaning experience, and a valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness inside and out of schools
• Support the Head Facility Operator in daily tasks
• Keep grounds safe and attractive
• Carry out heavy lifting and physical labor tasks
• Use computer systems for reporting purposes
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 10 diploma or General Educational Development
• Class 5 driver’s license needed
• Six months of caretaking experience required
• Valid Fireman’s certificate if needed
• Ability to perform physical labor
