Become a Support Worker at SaskAbilities in Saskatoon, enhancing the lives of adults in our Quality of Life Day Program. This full-time, temporary position lasts until December 31, 2026.
In this role, you'll provide assistance to adults with disabilities, facilitating both on-site and community-based activities. You'll cultivate a protected, engaging atmosphere, help with personal care, and maintain documentation for our participants. Teamwork and independent work capabilities are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support participants in community and facility activities • Document daily activities and maintain program files • Assist individuals with personal care needs • Drive clients to community events using personal vehicle • Create a fun and interactive environment for all participants
Requirements: • Disability or Rehabilitation Support Worker Certification • Valid Class 5 Drivers License with reliable transportation • First Aid/CPR/AED Certification or intent to secure • Minimum one year of relevant work experience • Excellent interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills
