Reporting directly to the Director of Procurement and Contract Management, you will be responsible for inventory management, procurement, and supporting clinical teams within the operating room environment. This non-clinical position plays an essential role in the safe and effective delivery of surgical services by collaborating with various departments to optimize supply utilization and enhance quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and follow up on purchase orders for surgical supplies • Manage inventory levels to prevent stock-outs or expired items • Verify incoming supplies to ensure accuracy and integrity • Liaise with clinical teams to ensure timely supply delivery • Contribute to cost-saving and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements: • Minimum three years in purchasing/supply chain roles • Experience within an operating room setting • Preferred university education • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Proven organizational skills for multitasking
