Drive senior engagement at Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre as a Seniors Program Coordinator. Develop diverse programming that addresses the needs of seniors in Toronto, enhancing community connections.

This position involves working collaboratively under the Manager of Seniors Programs. The Coordinator will design recreational, educational, and culturally relevant programs for seniors to reduce social isolation. You will also assist in outreach, community development, and evaluate program effectiveness based on participant feedback.

Key Responsibilities:



• Develop and implement diverse programs for seniors • Facilitate community involvement and foster leadership skills • Provide access to services and support for participants • Monitor budget and maintain program statistics • Oversee volunteers and participate in agency meetings

Requirements: • Post-secondary education in a relevant field • Minimum 2 years’ experience with seniors in non-profits • Robust program planning and volunteer management skills • Knowledge of cultural competency and social services • CPR and First Aid certifications are assets
