As part of the Advanced Structures team at RTX, you will report to the Surface Finishing Supervisor. This onsite role supports quality and operational efficiency by performing essential tasks like deburring and polishing components. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining aerospace standards and facilitating continuous improvement in production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform deburring and filing of landing gear parts • Conduct operator self-verification for quality control • Operate overhead cranes for parts movement • Engage in LEAN and Continuous Improvement activities • Assist with surface finishing and rework tasks
Requirements: • High school diploma with 1-3 years deburring experience • Proficient in using micrometers and verniers • Eligibility to work in Canada under ITAR requirements • Ability to interpret manufacturing process sheets • Familiarity with drawing specifications and part dimensions
