As the Executive Director, you will be the voice for over 220 businesses in the Rutland area, advocating for their needs and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. This role combines strategic planning with a focus on enhancing economic growth and community engagement, while managing a nimble team of four. Regular in-person attendance in the Rutland area is required to strengthen community ties.

Key Responsibilities:



• Advocate on behalf of members and engage with community stakeholders • Direct and manage a small team to implement strategic initiatives • Build partnerships to access funding and support URBA’s mandate • Drive events that promote business opportunities • Ensure presence within the Rutland community

Requirements: • Over five years of leadership experience in relevant fields • Demonstrated skills in community engagement and revenue growth • Strong advocacy and negotiation capabilities • Familiarity with the Rutland community is advantageous • Flexible schedule to accommodate wide-ranging engagement times
