Join a dynamic team of researchers to build software infrastructure that aids in accessing and managing astronomical data. Your primary focus will be on developing portals for data viewership and software pipelines to automate transfers from the MeerKAT telescope. Additionally, you will maintain repositories to process and transfer essential astronomical data efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build software infrastructure on CanDIAPL servers • Develop portals for multi-messenger astrophysical data • Create automated software pipelines for data transfer • Retrieve data from leading astronomical resources • Optimize key data transfers with reduced size
Requirements: • Experience in software development and data analysis • Familiarity with astrophysical data sources and processing • Ability to function in hybrid work environments • Solid programming capabilities for software development • Engaged in collaborative research initiatives
