As a Qualified Person Security Personnel, you will support vulnerable mental health patients and care teams within Manitoba's healthcare settings. Your role is crucial in event de-escalation and securing patient safety under the Mental Health Act.

Key Responsibilities:



• Protect mental health patients during emergencies • Support healthcare teams with event de-escalation • Maintain a secure setting in urgent care areas • Complete ongoing training and competency assessments • Execute responsibilities under the supervision of police officers

Requirements: • Minimum 1 year as a Security Patrol Officer in healthcare • Valid Manitoba Security Guard license required • Grade 12 completion or equivalent education • Strong communication and decision-making skills • Ability to manage physical demands and stressful situations
