Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Introduction Robertson is seeking a skilled IT - Bus Systems Analyst V to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

Contract Period: 18 months with potential to extend or convert

Pay Rate: Starting form $78 per hour

Location: Toronto, ON

Location Type: Hybrid

Business Hours: Monday-Friday, Core business hours

Job Responsibilities

Learning application lead for application strategy, delivery, performance, access, data availability & integrity, data retention & disposition, remediation alignment, priorities, plans, communication

Deployment and change management for initiatives relating to Learning applications managed

Learning Application SME ownership/input as required into project artifacts (ideation, business case, SRS, etc.)

Ensures that all guidelines and controls are in place to ensure customer information is protected and that the application is compliant from a risk/privacy perspective, including adherence and compliance with enterprise application / data lifecycle practices for own work and the work of others

Support daily operational work such as Incident Triage/Escalations; core system consulting and configurations bulk data loads; data governance vendor management release management

Work with business partners to provide input on possible work processes and system changes required to support their business

Participate in large Enterprise programs as a SME for business functionality of the applications owned/managed

Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to support the development sound business cases with an on-going focus on reusability, scalability, innovation and enterprise-wide solutions





Supports overall accountability for risk and controls for the application and manages risk assessments and testing

Ensure adherence to guidelines and regulatory requirements under Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and the Office of the Chief Data Officer

Build and maintain positive relationships with businesses, technology groups, and key stakeholders to identify and assess new project intake requests

Maintain an "end-to-end" view of the customer, business and processes to be able to triage new requests based on changing partner needs

Identify and understand emerging risks related to project activity and ensure business requirements and solutions appropriately mitigate risks

Manage relationships with project team members, third party vendors/ service partners, other technology and client areas as appropriate

Manage and/or oversee the implementation of solutions and work closely with key business leaders to optimize and maximize the availability of service, efficiency, and effectiveness

Highly seasoned professional role requiring substantial knowledge / expertise in a complex field and knowledge of broader related area

Integrates knowledge of the enterprise sub-function’s or business line’s overarching strategy in developing solutions across multiple functions or operations

Acts as a technical expert / lead integrating cross-function understanding within their own field of specialty

Deep expert knowledge of application analysis process and techniques

Deep expert knowledge of applications supported by the team including system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rules

Sound knowledge of bank's agile methodology,



business testing and project management

Deep knowledge / understanding of business support and broader organization

Deep expertise in analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to solve or may lead others to solve complex problems, requiring analysis of multiple variables, including consultation with multiple stakeholders

Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify solutions

Communicating difficult concepts converts information to compelling business context and advice influences and gains alignment across increasingly senior stakeholders

Works autonomously as the lead and guides others within area of expertise

Experience & Qualification Requirements

Post secondary degree required

5+ years of Business Application Analyst experience required

Strong experience with learning technologies/applications

Workday Learning experience is highly preferred

Learning technology certifications

Large corporation/enterprise level experience

Robust Agile experience
