We are hiring a dependable, professional

Overnight Security Guard

to protect a private luxury residence in Etobicoke. This is a client-facing role that requires a calm, alert, and courteous presence during overnight hours. If you take pride in being reliable, always on time, and trustworthy, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities

Monitor premises overnight, deter unauthorized access, and promptly report security incidents. Respond to alarms and coordinate with emergency services when needed. Perform regular patrols of interior and exterior areas to maintain safety. Enforce site access control; verify credentials of staff and visitors. Adhere to company policies on safety, privacy, and incident handling. Document all events in an accurate security log for accountability. Utilize security technology and pipelines to track incidents and progress. Collaborate with on-site team to meet security KPIs and targets. Escalate recurring issues to supervisor and propose improvement ideas. Maintain a professional presence to deter incidents through visibility. Assist with onboarding and mentoring of new security staff as needed. Log all activity, visitors, deliveries, and incidents in a shift report. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the household, family, and property Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or suspicious activity to the property manager Provide a courteous,



professional first point of contact for anyone approaching the property Experience/Qualifications

Valid security guard license or certification as per local regulations. Minimum 1 year of on-site security guarding or related experience. Proficiency with access control systems and security monitoring technologies. Ability to perform night/overnight shifts and incident escalation procedures. Strong observational skills and meticulous incident documentation capabilities. Excellent communication and professional presence to deter incidents. Robust ethics, privacy awareness, and adherence to company policies. Basic first aid and emergency response awareness. Valid government-issued photo ID and eligibility to work in Canada Clean background check / vulnerable sector check (or willingness to obtain one) Comfortable working independently overnight with minimal supervision Strong observational skills and sound judgment in high-pressure situations Professional appearance, demeanor, and communication skills Basic proficiency with smartphones/tablets for logging and communication apps Reliable transportation to a residential Etobicoke location during overnight hours Physically able to stand, walk, and patrol grounds for extended periods, including in various weather conditions What's in it for you?
