Utilize your mechanical design expertise at Channel Industrial as a Mechanical Designer located in Bradford, Ontario. Work with CAD (SolidWorks) to create custom metal fabrications that enhance production efficiency.

In this key role, you’ll be responsible for developing 3D models and detailed drawings supporting the manufacturing process. Collaborating closely with Engineering and Production, you'll ensure that your designs meet both customer specifications and internal standards while providing problem-solving support on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:



• Design and create detailed CAD models and drawings • Update drawings based on customer and shop feedback • Address and solve fabrication challenges effectively • Support Sales with conceptual layouts and BOM preparation • Ensure integration with ERP systems for accurate documentation

Requirements: • Post-secondary education in Mechanical Design or related field • 3+ years in mechanical design within a custom fabrication setting • Knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes • Familiarity with ERP systems like JobBOSS² • Strong communication and detail-oriented skills
