Be a key player in the design of custom automation solutions as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in Toronto, Ontario. This onsite role is perfect for skilled professionals ready to lead projects from design to commissioning.

You will report to the Engineering Manager, managing electrical designs that meet high standards and customer requirements. Responsibilities include designing control systems, developing electrical documentation, and troubleshooting complex issues. Collaborate with teams across engineering and manufacturing to optimize project execution and mentor junior professionals.

Key Responsibilities:



• Design and detail custom electrical control systems • Create and revise electrical drawings based on feedback • Develop Bills of Materials accurate for project specifications • Program PLC & HMI systems and support installations • Monitor and document all engineering changes and testing

Requirements: • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering/Technology with a focus on controls • Over 5 years of experience in electrical controls project management • Robust background in PLC & HMI programming, particularly Allen-Bradley • Experience in servo and VFD motion control system design • Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and debugging tools
