Smart & Biggar, a leader in intellectual property law, is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Expert to strengthen its National Finance Team. Candidates should have a solid foundation in accounting or finance, plus 3+ years of experience in accounts payable. Your proficiency with MS Office and organizational skills will be pivotal in managing various financial tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle wire transfers, EFTs, and credit card payments
• Liaise with clients for missing payment information




• Prepare vendor forms and banking confirmations upon request
• Investigate and arrange client refunds when necessary
• Maintain monthly account statements for client records
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in accounts payable roles
• Robust command of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of Concur and Elite 3E is beneficial
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Multitasking in a fast-paced environment
