About This Opportunity Reporting to the National Director, Clinic Partnerships, the Area Director, Clinic Partnerships, plays a pivotal leadership role in overseeing operations and driving growth for newly acquired clinics across Ontario and Atlantic Canada. This position champions a values-driven culture, builds and motivates high-performing teams, and ensures excellence in clinical quality, operational performance, and both client and team member engagement. Accountable for regional KPIs, governance, and profitability, the Area Director supports the successful integration of recent acquisitions into CBI Health's network, collaborating with prior clinic owners and learning the unique aspects of each business. This role ensures sustainable business success that aligns with CBI Health's strategic vision, delivering exceptional care and improving the health and lives of those we serve.

Salary range:

$110,000-$145,000 per year

Leadership and People Management:

Support and lead prior owners and/or clinic leaders at newly acquired clinics across Ontario and Atlantic Canada

Create an environment that reflects CBI Health's purpose and values, attracting and retaining high-performing talent who naturally live those values

Ensure every team member understands their key accountabilities and performs to expectations

Ensure staffing resources meet organizational and clinic requirements

Lead regional hiring efforts and foster a culture of recognition and engagement

Support performance management and compensation practices in collaboration with the National Director, Clinic Partnerships





Maintain regular on-site presence at each clinic - minimum once per quarter, to connect with teams and reinforce alignment with operational priorities

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

Strengthen integration and partnership processes for newly acquired clinics by fostering strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders, positioning CBI Health and its acquired brands as trusted, innovative partners

Liaise proactively with Operations, HR, IT, Marketing, Finance, Clinical Excellence, Quality, and Risk teams to embed CBI Health processes and ensure consistent understanding across all acquired clinics

Share best practices and participate in provincial or national initiatives related to Clinic Partnerships, contributing insights from newly acquired clinics to the broader leadership team

Oversee local risk and quality management to ensure compliance with contractual commitments and regulatory standards

Maintain a strong understanding of stakeholder priorities and evolving needs to identify opportunities for innovation, growth, and operational improvement

Business Performance / Operational Excellence:

Lead and support clinic leaders in achieving organizational goals and strategic priorities.

Drive accountability for operational, quality, and financial results (revenue, gross margin, EBITDA) in alignment with acquisition growth objectives

Ensure efficient execution of service delivery models and identify opportunities to innovate or enhance systems, processes, and client experience

Collaborate on annual regional planning and ensure alignment with CBI Health’s broader strategic vision

Monitor clinical and financial KPIs to ensure targets are met or exceeded; implement corrective action plans when variances occur

Ensure all contractual deliverables, performance measures, and accreditation standards are consistently achieved and documented

Identify and refer potential acquisition opportunities to Corporate Development to support CBI Health’s continued growth





What You Need To Be Successful

Undergraduate degree in Health, Business or Health Administration(or equivalent work experience) preferred

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a general operational management role in a service-focused organization, ideally with experience in a senior management role in a healthcare organization

Demonstrated ability in managing multiple operating units/sites

Strong leadership: The ability to inspire and motivate a team, set clear goals and expectations, and hold staff accountable for their performance

Strategic thinking: The ability to think strategically and make decisions that align with the overall goals of the organization

Excellent communication: The ability to clearly and effectively communicate with staff, corporate management, and other stakeholders

Strong problem-solving skills: The ability to quickly and effectively address and resolve any issues that arise in the clinics

Decisiveness: The ability to make decisions in a timely manner and take ownership of the consequences

Flexibility: The ability to adapt to change and handle unexpected situations

Effective time management: The ability to balance competing priorities and manage time effectively to meet deadlines

Strong relationship building: The ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with staff, patients, and other stakeholders

Strong business acumen: The ability to understand the financial and clinical aspects of the clinics and make decisions that support the financial goals of the organization

Strong Interpersonal skills: The ability to understand, empathize and connect with people, to build trust and motivate them to achieve the common goals

Proven ability to manage complexity and change initiatives

Experience in outpatient rehabilitation preferred
