Join North Island College as a Continuing Education Assistant in Port Alberni, where your organizational skills will enhance program support and student engagement. This role is temporary, offering a unique prospect in education administration.

As a Continuing Education Assistant, you will facilitate seamless project support under the CET Manager – Finance and HR Administration. This position demands excellent customer service and communication skills to effectively manage student registrations and inquiries while collaborating with various educational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:



• Respond promptly to student queries via multiple channels • Handle registration duties and maintain accurate student records • Coordinate with external partners such as WorkBC • Assist with preparing course materials and payroll for instructors • Notify students of important course updates and changes

Requirements: • Two-year diploma in office administration or related field • At least two years in customer service and administrative roles • Excellent organizational and communication abilities • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and databases • BC driver's license for transportation duties
