We arecurrently seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our Lower NorthShore team, specifically in Tête-à-la-Baleine .

Whatwill your day-to-day look like?

Reportingto the Director of Equipment Rental and Workforce Management, your mainresponsibilities will include:

- Perform preventive inspectionson equipment;

- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic,and electrical issues;

- Assess component wear anddetermine replacement requirements;

- Provide planners andsupervisors with the information required to plan major repairs andmaintenance activities;

- Adjust, repair, and replacedefective parts and components;

- Perform preventive maintenance,including lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments;

- Test equipment followingrepairs;





- Ensuring compliance withhealth, safety, and environmental standards;

- Completing inspection andmaintenance reports;

- Maintaining tools, equipment,and keep the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

- Vocational Diploma (DEP) inHeavy Equipment Mechanics or equivalent training;

- 3 to 5 years of experience in asimilar role;

- Ability and willingness totravel for work rotations of 21 to 35 days within Quebec's Lower NorthShore region;

- Valid CCQ JourneymanCertificate in Heavy Equipment Mechanics is considered an asset;

- Intermediate English skills areconsidered an asset, as occasional communication with English-speaking collaboratorsmay be required;

- Robust analytical andtroubleshooting skills;

- Ability to read blueprints andinterpret maintenance manuals;

- Team-oriented mindset.
