In this role within Calgary Co-op's Human Resources team, you will be instrumental in overseeing various disability management programs, ensuring that employees receive the necessary support while upholding compliance with legislative guidelines. You will collaborate with leaders and employees to address complex case discussions and foster well-being throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage WCB claims and disability program processes • Conduct functional assessments and plan accommodations • Partner with healthcare providers and stakeholders for positive outcomes • Guide leaders on disability management practices and obligations • Support the development of wellness-focused programs
Requirements: • Post-secondary education in relevant field • 3-5+ years in disability management or claims coordination • Solid understanding of legislation impacting workplace accommodation • Proven track record in training and team development • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
