The Senior Assessor will focus on performing building condition assessments and comprehensive reporting on findings. This role is pivotal in executing projects, ensuring they align with initial specifications and budget frameworks. You will also mentor new staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of assessment processes, enabling efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply technical standards in building asset assessments
• Produce condition reports and repair recommendations
• Lead scheduling for efficient project execution
• Mentor current hires and support their onboarding
• Contribute to the development of training materials
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 5-8 years of experience in building assessments
• Strong knowledge of building systems and components
• Project management capabilities with certification as an asset
• Valid driver’s license for travel across Canada and US
