Geoterra is seeking an experienced Wildfire Coordinator to oversee wildfire management projects across British Columbia. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in wildfire operations, community wildfire planning, and regulatory permitting. The successful applicant will coordinate multidisciplinary teams in both field and office settings to help communities mitigate wildfire risks while supporting junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:



• Support delivery of wildfire management projects and track progress • Develop Community Wildfire Resiliency Plans and risk reduction strategies • Coordinate prescribed burning operations with adherence to regulations • Facilitate compliance and maintain comprehensive documentation • Organize resources and communications for field teams

Requirements: • Minimum 3 years’ experience in wildfire management or forestry • Post-secondary education in related field preferred • Registered Skilled Forester (RPF) in BC preferred • Familiarity with prescribed burning practices and regulations • Effective communication and organizational skills
