Hourly pay rate of $27.44to 31.36
What you will be doing:
Ensure the safety of the hotel, guests and employees
Greet guests and visitors, respond to inquiries and provide information
Research and report any incidents in accordance with standards of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts
Perform interior and exterior patrols of hotel property and be a visible security presence while on duty
Monitor CCTV camera system
Act as First Aid Attendant and respond to all first aid calls while on duty
Maintain effective relationships with Municipal, Federal or Corporate security/police forces
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Your experience and skills include:
Previous experience in a customer service related position
BST certificate and Valid BC Security License or willingness to obtain a Security License
First Aid Intermediate 2
Bondable
Completely fluent English language skills, both written and verbal
Must be available for all shifts including evenings, overnight shifts and weekends.
Explicit, professional and helpful communication in person and over the phone
Team player with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
A high level of responsibility and ability to work well independently with minimal supervision
Commitment to provide excellent service and exceed guests' expectationsImpeccable grooming and presentation
Additional Information Physical ability to perform the requirements of the job, including:
Standing/walking for extended periods of time
Performing repetitive work
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
