You’ll be responsible for conducting assessments using VI-SPDAT, assisting with admission into emergency housing, and maintaining client records in databases like HIFIS. Understanding community services and robust communication skills are crucial in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide customer service and respond to client inquiries • Conduct thorough housing assessments using SPDAT • Facilitate access to emergency housing programs • Maintain records and data entries in departmental software • Refer clients to supportive services and resources
Requirements: • Two-year diploma in Social Services or equivalent • Over two years in crisis intake or related experience • Knowledge of mental health and addictions services • Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence required • Experience with conflict resolution in crisis scenarios
