Westland Insurance Group Ltd is growing and has an exciting prospect for an Actuarial Analyst to join our growing team. Thishybrid role is based out of ourHead Office inSurrey, BC .

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $80,000- $105,000 with a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity. Westland also offers a competitive annual short-term incentive program that enables employees toshare inthe rewards of the business and emphasizes the measures that are key to our success.

Why we’ll love You:

- You strive to understand the data and love seeking ways to improve the quality of the data and reporting
- You enjoy collaborating with others to identify and prioritize use cases for analysis and build out models to answer business questions
- You love numbers and have a robust background in math, statistics or equivalent such as a bachelor’s degree in those areas or related fields
- You can translate complex information and findings for business leaders
- At least two years’ experience in a data analytics role
- Previous experience with data analysis and modeling using SQL, R, and Python
- Bonus: Experience in P&C; insurance
