and supplier evaluations Develop procurement strategies that balance value, quality, risk, and operational requirements Collaborate with technical stakeholders to develop specifications and procurement documentation Analyze supplier proposals using commercial, technical, and total cost of ownership criteria Negotiate pricing, service levels, warranties, and contractual terms with suppliers Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies and applicable trade agreements Monitor supplier performance and support ongoing contract administration and vendor management Successful candidates will have: Minimum 5 years of procurement or senior buyer experience Experience managing laboratory, scientific, technical, medical equipment, or specialized procurement categories Solid knowledge of formal sourcing processes including RFQs, RFPs, and tendering activities Experience negotiating supplier contracts, pricing structures, delivery schedules, and service agreements Understanding of public-sector procurement principles and compliance requirements Advanced analytical skills with experience evaluating total cost of ownership and supplier risk Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
