Our Markham office has an opening for a motivated Survey Technician/Assistant. You'll assist in key surveying and construction layout tasks while working with GNSS and laser scanning equipment. This position provides a platform for growth and contribution within a dedicated team focused on efficient and effective surveying practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute surveying tasks with various survey instruments • Support the Survey Party Chief with site layout activities • Create field notes and manage data uploads and downloads • Ensure field equipment and vehicles are well-maintained • Communicate clearly and consistently with team members
Requirements: • Aspiring candidates interested in surveying roles • Previous experience with surveying tools is advantageous • Robust teamwork and effective communication • Ability to follow operational safety guidelines • Capable of conducting routine maintenance on equipment
