Licensed Hairstylists

HS Studio in Halifax is seeking experienced licensed hairstylists. At HS Studio Salonspa, we are passionate about growing our hair salon and day spa, the incomes of our associates and leaving a legacy of excellence in the beauty industry.

Qualifications and requirements:

- Carry a valid CANS license in hairdressing
- Have 2 years of experience as a hairstylist with a clientele
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace




- Able to provide own tools and equipment
- Have a positive, mature attitude
- Some evening and weekend availability

Duties and responsibilities:

- Provide clients with a variety of hair services including but not limited to cutting, color application, highlights, balayage, relaxers, perms, styling, etc.
- Provide client consultations and home care recommendations
- Prepare the station before each shift
- General cleaning duties such as laundry, sweeping, cleaning of station, etc.

Hourly rate ranges from $16.75 to $28.00 per hour based on approx. 28-35 hours per week and client demand.
