Reporting to the Team Leader, this position requires a minimum of five years of structural steel fitting experience. You'll be involved in fabricating, assembling, and fitting structural steel assemblies with a focus on safety and efficiency. Mentoring apprentices and junior fitters will also be part of your role, enhancing the team's skill set and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate and assemble structural steel assemblies
• Operate welding and fitting equipment proficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately




• Mentor apprentices and junior fitters effectively
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and PPE usage
Requirements:
• 5+ years fitting/fabricating structural steel experience
• Completion of Metal Fabrication or Welding apprenticeship
• Ability to operate overhead cranes
• Current or past CWB certification for FCAW, MCAW
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
