As a Senior Tax Advisor, your expertise in U.S. and Canadian tax will empower clients to navigate complex regulatory frameworks. You will manage individual income tax returns while mentoring junior staff and driving engagement initiatives. Your strategic insights will assist in effectively addressing compliance concerns and promoting business development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee U.S.-Canadian individual income tax return preparation
• Conduct cross-border income tax planning sessions
• Prepare detailed reports and technical findings
• Collaborate on expatriate compensation strategies
• Guide the engagement team and mentor junior accountants
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or finance discipline
• CPA designation or on the path to completion
• 2 to 4 years of public accounting experience
• Proficient in Canadian and U.S. tax compliance
• Skilled in accounting software utilization
