This role involves ensuring the functionality of electrical generators and related systems within the Army, Navy, or Air Force. You will receive extensive training focused on mobile and fixed unit power generation systems, with key components learned at the Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering. Expect to navigate both hands-on repair tasks and technical design work throughout your career.
Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and operate Uninterruptable Power Systems • Repair control equipment for generators • Produce specifications and designs for electrical systems • Conduct brazing and welding on systems • Overhaul and troubleshoot generation equipment
Requirements: • Minimum education: Grade 10 or equivalent • No prior work experience required; on-the-job training included • Successful completion of physical training course • Open to relocating if in Regular Force • Part time options available in Primary Reserve
