Join the Child and Youth Mental Health team as a Clinician in Timmins, providing vital therapeutic services to children and families. This full-time position offers an prospect to engage in meaningful mental health support.
As a Registered Clinician, you will focus on delivering psychotherapy, counseling, and clinical assessments tailored to the needs of children and adolescents. Resourcefulness and collaboration are essential as you work alongside other professionals to improve the emotional well-being of youth. You'll address both behavioral and social challenges faced by families within this outreach role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver single session psychotherapy to children and adolescents
• Assess and address behavioral, social, and emotional needs
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
• Provide support to family systems surrounding clients
• Initiate innovative therapeutic approaches
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree or relevant four-year Honours degree
• Must be registered with appropriate Ontario colleges
• Strong clinical skills in the child mental health field
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Valid G driver’s license to support mobility
