As the Youth Wellness Navigator, you will work under the supervision of the Youth Navigator Team Leader to enhance the lives of youth through integrated wellness planning. Recognizing the impact of systemic factors on youth, you will help them set achievable goals and develop essential skills. Your work will integrate syilx and nłeʔkepmx values, aiming for sustainable support in various areas of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate prevention services tailored to youth needs
• Conduct assessments, goal-setting sessions, and wellness plans




• Empower youth in life skills development and independence
• Connect youth to educational and cultural resources
• Partner with community organizations for comprehensive support
Requirements:
• Relevant diploma, degree, or equivalent experience
• Minimum two years supporting youth and vulnerable populations
• Robust knowledge of mental health and social issues
• Proven relationship-building and confidentiality skills
• Demonstrated understanding of Indigenous cultural practices
