Reporting to the Nutrition Manager, this cook position is essential in delivering nutritious meals to residents, guests, and employees. You'll be responsible for meal preparation, following menus, and adhering to food safety regulations. Your role will also involve maintaining kitchen hygiene and participating in special occasion meals, enriching our community’s dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:



• Prepare and deliver all food for residents and staff • Review menus and production sheets before cooking • Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures • Complete daily temperature audits for food storage • Make menu substitutions and document changes

Requirements: • Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain • Experience in large quantity food preparation • Knowledge of special diets and Canada's Food Guide • Physically able to lift heavy items and stand for shifts • Criminal Background Check required
