Streamline Control is hiring a Leak Detection Advisor to support vital leak detection services for pipeline clients in western Canada. This entry-level position offers a mentorship path to expertise.
Ideal candidates will possess 1–3 years of experience in pipeline operations or instrumentation and a commitment to expanding their skill set in CPM leak detection. You will work alongside Senior Advisors, participating in evaluations and improvements of pipeline monitoring systems from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in evaluating leak detection systems against compliance standards • Help prepare threshold calculation packages for review • Conduct analyses of alarm data and pipeline telemetry • Compile documentation for client regulatory audits • Participate in client technical meetings for feedback
Requirements: • 1–3 years in oil and gas or related fields • Basic knowledge of pipeline operations and SCADA • Familiarity with leak detection methods preferred • Willing to travel to client facilities across western Canada • Ability to communicate technical details effectively
