Insight Global is seeking a Regulatory Capital Specialist to support a major regulatory transformation initiative within a Canadian financial institution. The organization has recently completed a comprehensive regulatory assessment with Coastal Community Credit Union, which identified future regulatory requirements, current-state gaps, and required business and operational changes. As the project moves into execution, the team is looking for a seasoned regulatory professional who can independently drive implementation efforts and help operationalize the recommended changes.
This individual will serve as a bridge between strategy and execution, taking ownership of implementation planning, regulatory change activities, and reporting enhancements while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external consulting partners. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in regulatory capital, capital adequacy frameworks, regulatory reporting, and banking compliance, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business and system changes.
A significant focus of the role will be reviewing current reporting processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency, and ensuring regulatory data can be accurately sourced, transformed, and reported across various banking platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to understand how core lending, underwriting, loan origination, and banking systems support regulatory reporting requirements.
This is a highly visible role that requires someone comfortable operating independently, driving workstreams forward, and leading implementation efforts until ownership is transitioned back to the internal team.
