The City of Cambridge is looking for an experienced Security Guard to join its team. In this role, you will ensure the security of municipal properties by monitoring conditions and addressing potential hazards. Your responsibilities will include documenting incidents, providing support to emergency responders, and handling conflict situations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and patrol assigned city-owned areas
• Investigate and respond to security breaches
• Keep detailed logs of activities and incidents
• Assist with emergency protocols and evacuations
• Enforce local by-laws and provide visitor access
Requirements:
• Two-year diploma in related field or equivalent
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• 6 months to 1 year of related security experience
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Clean Class G driver's license in Ontario
