Become a Trauma-Informed Night Security Staff member at Treehouse and Nest, focusing on safety through respect and calm communication. This role aims to foster a secure and welcoming overnight setting.
As part of the Night Security Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety for the facility, providing support to staff and visitors alike. You’ll employ trauma-informed and respectful communication methods while conducting patrols and monitoring security protocols. Keeping detailed records of incidents and collaborating with emergency services when necessary are essential components of your duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Patrol and secure the Nest campus regularly
• Monitor access points and alarms continuously
• Document all incidents and overnight activities




• Engage individuals with respect and calmness
• Respond to safety concerns following established protocols
Requirements:
• Background in security, community work, or social services preferred
• Training in trauma-informed and de-escalation techniques
• Calm demeanor in high-stress situations
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• CPR/First Aid certification required by start date
