Become a key player as a Quality Assurance Analyst with NSB Omega, supporting our major Oil & Gas client in Calgary, AB. Your expertise will be vital in managing quality assurance within the laboratory workplace.
In this one-year contract position, you will assist in overseeing the Laboratory Quality Assurance System. Key responsibilities include scheduling quality control programs, coordinating batches of samples, and evaluating test accuracy using statistical tools. You will also troubleshoot Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) errors while compiling essential Lab Performance Indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule quality control and crosscheck programs
• Prepare batches of quality control samples




• Evaluate test accuracy using statistical analysis
• Compile key Lab Performance Indicators
• Troubleshoot LIMS operational errors
Requirements:
• P. Eng or ability to obtain before start date
• Degree in mechanical engineering required
• Knowledge of regulatory procedures in petroleum sector
• Experience in data quality control review
• Familiarity with downhole tools and materials science beneficial
