Electrician Full Time

Salary: $35.29

Responsibilities

- Laying out, assembling, repairing, troubleshooting, maintaining, connecting and testing power equipment, electrical fixtures, conduit, junction boxes, circuit protection devices, and related equipment.
- Completing all on-demand and preventative maintenance work orders.
- Working with external contractors by providing escorts, assistance and direction.
- Assisting with maintaining spare parts inventory by requesting purchase orders.
- Reading blueprints.
- Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties.
- Working independently and as one team that helps and supports one another.
- Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S; policies and legislation.
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

- Certificate of Qualification 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician in valuable standing.
- Minimum two (2) years working in the electrical trade in a construction or commercial environment including working knowledge of HVAC controls, VSD’s, Lutron Lighting, fire alarm, UPS (Powerware) and Generator.
- Knowledge & training in the following areas: Arc Flash, Man-Lift operation, Fall Arrest, High Voltage (13,800 volts) and WHMIS.
- Valid “G” driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.




- Fire Alarm Technician certification and fire extinguisher handling.
