Become a Recreation Provider at Community Homes for Opportunities Programs (CHO). This part-time, permanent role focuses on delivering enriching recreation and leisure activities that benefit clients directly.
In your capacity, you will assess recreation needs, coordinate activities, and engage clients in therapeutic and meaningful programs. This position allows for flexibility in hours while working collaboratively with support staff to meet individual client needs and program requirements across various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement recreational activities tailored for CHO clients
• Assess individual client needs and interests
• Engage with community partners for event planning
• Keep accurate records within client files and databases
• Supervise clients during activities to ensure safety
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field
• Experience with vulnerable populations preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and community resources
• Solid communication and organizational abilities
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
