Lead data governance efforts as the Data Quality Manager for Morningstar DBRS. This hybrid role focuses on developing controls and standards for accurate and compliant data management.
As a key member of the team reporting to the Senior Director of Data Products, you will drive the data controls roadmap and assist various departments in embedding solid data practices. Your extensive experience in enhancing data governance frameworks will be crucial as you assess existing controls and establish new procedures to support regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance the data controls framework
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes
• Partner with technology teams on data integrity during migrations




• Lead a team of data analysts, setting priorities and coaching
• Establish standards for AI-ready data management
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's preferred
• 5+ years in data governance within financial services
• Strong understanding of controls and data quality principles
• Experience with SQL and cloud platforms like Snowflake
• Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels
