This permanent full time role reports to the Manager of Outpatient Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Addictions. You will work closely in designated SchoolsPlus locations, providing essential mental health services. Focused on early intervention, your goal will be to support children's and adolescents' mental health needs while collaborating with families and educational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide mental health services in community schools • Act as a liaison between clients and educational staff • Participate in multidisciplinary team planning and evaluation • Implement evidence-informed therapies for diverse mental health issues • Conduct crisis interventions and risk assessments
Requirements: • Master’s degree in a related clinical field • Minimum two years of clinical experience required • Registration with relevant provincial regulatory body • Knowledge of DSM V criteria for mental health disorders • Excellent communication and organizational skills
